Ups and Downs Southwest scoop a
£10,000 award in a Dragon Den's style event.
More than £73,000 of National Lottery funding was awarded to good causes in Sedgemoor at the Funding Den which was run by Spark. £10,000 was awarded in a Dragon Den’s style event to Ups and Downs Southwest.
15 groups from across Sedgemoor pitched their projects at a Dragon’s Den-style event which brought over 200 people from the local community together to vote for their favourites to secure funding.
Ten projects were handed over £73,000 at the event held in Burnham-on-Sea, which Spark organised in partnership with the Big Lottery Fund.
Our award will provide up to 600 hours of family support to our Sedgemoor Families.

Ups and Downs Southwest also provide Downs Syndrome support to families, children and professionals in North Somerset, Devon, Dorset, Wilshire and Cornwall.
