Lend a hand

To mark The King’s Coronation, thousands of organisations nationwide, including ours, are encouraging people to ‘Lend a hand’ in their community and sign up to volunteer on Monday, 8th May 2023.

We have a fantastic volunteering menu for people to get involved and make a difference.

Are you a parent who would like to use your experience to help other parents? Our Volunteer Befriender roles are a vital source of comfort for our families, offering emotional support to parents at any time of diagnosis. Click for more information Volunteer Befriender

Want to work directly with our young people? How about volunteering at one of our youth clubs? We currently have youth clubs in Bristol, Weston-Super-Mare and Sherborne. More information can be found About our Youth clubs

Only have a couple of hours to spare? We are always on the lookout for people to help at our family events, typically three times a year; these days are a chance for our families to get together and share their parenting experiences whilst the children get to play. If you are great at making cups of tea or slicing the cake and have the time to volunteer, then give us a call at 01278 691100

A great source of funding for us is our raffles. Could you spare the time to organise some fantastic prizes and run the raffle at our events?
