Dorset may have groups and services you would recommend please let us know. It might be, a local toddler group with excellent SEN provision, or a parent support group they may not be specifically Down Syndrome related but have good support provision.

Stay and Play New Forest Mencap
Playgroup for 0 – 5 for children with additional needs/learning disabilities with any diagnosis or none. Parents stay with their children, but early years expertise and support for parents are also available.
Tuesdays in term time 9.30 – 11.30 at the Nedderman Centre, Marryat Road, New Milton, BH25 5NY.
No geographical restrictions on attendance; if you can get here, we’d love to see you!
it is an opportunity for parents/carers to receive support as well as for their under-5s with additional needs to socialise and play

Friends and Families
A buddy support group for children and young people with Down Syndrome and their families. This parent led group offer lots of opportunities to come together from coffee mornings to family trips out.
