Somerset Summer Holiday Event

The last of our Summer events this year will be held at Ninesprings, the most popular and accessible area of Yeovil Country Park. It has a network of footpaths which lead through semi-ancient woodlands and wildflower meadows to explore the waterfalls and streams of the secretive Valley Gardens. There is also a newly built play area for children and young people to enjoy.

Other features include:

• Parking is available on-site, the most popular being Goldenstones car park, postcode BA20 1QZ. Please note that charges apply.
• Disabled access car parking spaces are available outside Ninesprings Café at Goldenstones car park (charges apply).
• Ninesprings café/restaurant serves hot and cold drinks, snacks, sandwiches, cakes and more. Takeaway food and drinks are also available.
• Information centre (based within the café area).
• Toilets
• Wi-Fi
• Picnic area

Cheryl Rose will meet you in the picnic area (just behind the cafe) at 10 am. You will then be free to explore the country park and enjoy the play area. Cheryl will stay at Ninesprings until 2 pm, so she will be available to support your visit.

We will gather at 12 p.m. for a picnic, so please bring a picnic blanket and your lunch. The cafe sells a range of sandwiches and snacks if you prefer to purchase something.
