Family Meet-Up at Kingsmour Playground

Come and enjoy a relaxed, inclusive, and joy-filled day out with other families at the much-loved Kingsmour Playground – a fully accessible play space designed with children with additional needs in mind.
Jackie Andrews and Jackie Sims will be there from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to warmly welcome everyone and ensure your day is filled with fun, connection, and support. Please note that only registered members will be able to stay in the park after 2 p.m.
What Makes Kingsmour Playground So Special?
- Specially designed play equipment that allows carers to accompany children on swings and slides
- A wheelchair-accessible swing for children to enjoy without leaving their chair
- Sandpit, rocking toys, play house, tubular bells, and lots of space to run around
- A calming garden area with a waterfall and motion-sensitive water feature
- A variety of bikes, trikes, and toy tractors donated by the local community
- Secure, safe environment with picnic tables and a rain shelter
Free for Ups and Downs Southwest Families!
Ups and Downs Southwest is a registered member of Kingsmour Playground, so this event is entirely free for our families to attend.
Want to Visit Again?
Families are welcome to return to the playground outside of this event by registering directly with the site. There’s just a one-off £2.50 admin fee to register.
