The October Experience Exchange

We are thrilled with the fantastic response to our campaign—thank you to all the Inspiration Explorers and Inspiration Guides who have signed up! The enthusiasm from both sides has been incredible, and we are now busy behind the scenes, carefully matching young people with exciting opportunities throughout October during Down Syndrome Awareness Month.

 

This campaign is about raising awareness and fostering meaningful connections, and we’ve been blown away by the generosity of those offering their time and skills. Each experience plays a vital role in helping to broaden perceptions of what our young people with Down Syndrome can achieve.

 

We’re excited to hear about how these wonderful experiences go and can’t wait to receive your photos, videos, and stories. After October, we’ll share many of these inspiring moments across our social media channels, allowing everyone to celebrate the success of this campaign. We’re also looking forward to seeing the documentary that Somerset Film will be putting together to capture some of the incredible adventures our young people embark on.

 

However, we still seek bespoke experiences in DJing, singing, cooking, and creating YouTube content. If you or someone you know can help, please email joanna@upsanddowns.net.
