Conquest Centre
Conquest Centre is a recognise alternative provider with Somerset County Council.
The charity offers disabled riding and person-centred therapy working with nature and small animals to improve physical and mental health.
We are based in 20 acres of wonderful farmland and have horses, donkeys, goats, sheep and chickens.
Facilities include:
- 2 covered riding arenas and hoist
- Woodland trail and forest school
- Sensory room open to all
- Cabins and yurt for quiet work
- Playpark with accessible equipment
- Gym and art room
- Changing Places wet room
- Cafe run by Foxes Academy
Conquest Centre was founded in 1965 as a disabled riding centre. In recognition of the increased local demand for broader person-centred therapy, the centre has progressed to become an enlightened therapy centre catering for the many complex needs.
Everyone is welcome to Conquest Centre regardless of age and with or without a referral. Most of our facilities are open to the public and offer peaceful non-judgmental settings that can be hard to find in public areas. We work in support of the whole family.
