Ball Launcher and Fruit

At Sherborne Youth Club, our ball launcher activity was absolutely brilliant. The session kicked off with the youth diving into the creative process of designing their very own ball launchers. Armed with an assortment of materials and their imaginative ideas, they crafted some truly unique launchers. Once the designs were complete, it was game time! Each participant took turns aiming and launching their creations, cheering each other on as they tested whose ball could soar the furthest. The excitement in the air was palpable, with friendly competition and laughter filling the space!

 

Next up was the fruit kebab activity, where everyone unleashed their artistic flair! With a vibrant rainbow of fresh fruits to choose from, the youth got to work creating their delicious masterpieces. Skewering juicy strawberries, tangy pineapples, and sweet melons, they crafted colourful kabobs that were almost too pretty to eat. The sheer creativity on display made this activity a feast for the eyes as well as the taste buds!

 

To cap off the action-packed day, we served up warm cups of rich, velvety hot chocolate topped with a mountain of squirted cream and fluffy marshmallows. They savoured every sip, giggling and sharing stories as they wrapped up the fun-filled session. It was the perfect sweet ending to a day of creativity, competition, and camaraderie!
