Thank you to everyone who attended our ‘Out of This World’ family event on 16th March 2024. With over 20 families attending, it was lovely to see so many parents, carers, and siblings enjoying an amazing family outing together.
As you can see from the photos, a great time was had by all! The youngest children were mesmerised by the sensory room and the ball pools, while the older children were able to run around, climb, enjoy the slides and play football in the other areas. There were many tired but happy children at the end of the evening!!
Out of This World Event
We would like to say a huge thank you to the team at Space Adventurers for hosting our World Down Syndrome Awareness Day event and for providing cold drinks and nachos for all our families to enjoy. Thank you also to Mademoiselle Desserts who very kindly donated the delicious cakes that were enjoyed by everyone.
And, of course, a big thank you to Freemasons; The Lodge of Perpetual Friendship 135, Bridgwater, whose fantastic and generous donation made this event possible.
The venue for this event worked incredibly well, with many participants saying how lovely that all children of all ages and abilities could get involved, a real family experience in a very safe setting.
