Barclays Virtual Quiz Night

Did you know that the national animal of Scotland is a unicorn?

Just one of the quizzical questions that came up during the Bridgwater Barclays Virtual Quiz Night, all in aid of Ups and Downs Southwest.

Supported by over 20 people across the Barclays network, their friends and family, we stormed our way through 8 rounds in total with questions from football to film, musicals to pictures of moustaches.  With prizes up for grabs, the competition was hot.

Through entry fees and additional on-line donations, some from our own families we support, the event raised a staggering £693.  Barclays Bank will now match fund this amount pound for pound bringing the total to £1386.

We are thrilled with the amount raised and would like to thank all the staff at the Bridgwater Barclays branch for choosing Ups and Downs Southwest to benefit and for giving up their time so freely to support this brilliant evening.
