Huge Massive thanks to ALL our incredible and amazing skydivers who jumped for us on June 17th 2014 (we still have four more intrepid skydivers left to jump on July 22nd!)
It was a gloriously sunny day with both Mike AND Oliver on hand to record the day with lots of great pictures! (Mike got sunburnt to an absolute crisp!)
List of Skydivers:
And ‘Team Clara!’:
At the moment we believe that the combined totals raised by ALL skydivers is around £27,000 of which at least £20,000 is clear profit! How amazing!!
CONGRATULATIONS, WELL DONE AND THANK YOU TO YOU ALL!!!
A HUGE THANKYOU and Congratulations TO BECKY AND STEVE HUGHES who got married on Valentine’s day this year and SO kindly asked for donations to Ups and Downs Southwest instead of wedding presents! How amazing is that!! This extraordinarily kind gesture raised well over a thousand pounds! So huge thanks go to Becky and Steve and their very gorgeous little boy Jacob – whose face adorns our brand new family support leaflet!
What a fabulous night was had by all at our wonderful fire-walking event! 20 of us WALKED ON FIRE for Ups and Downs SW and we hope to have a grand total to amaze and astound you in the next couple of weeks. We can at least however, for the moment confirm, that overall we have definitely raised over £5,500 from this event. So a MASSIVE thank you to all those fire-walked, sponsored and helped out on the night.
The fabulous Karen Curtis visited our offices in Westonzoyland on Wednesday 8th January to present us with a fabulous cheque for £2,400 (which didn’t include the fabulous £420 she gave us before so was really a fabulous total of £2,820!!) which she has raised with all her fabulous fundraising activities during 2013. (Have we got enough fabulouses in there do you think??)
